Our AKC puppies come with AKC registration paperwork. The registration is for Limited Registration.

Full Registration is for puppies that are to be breed and produce AKC registered litters.

Limited Registration is for puppies that will be pets.

In a nutshell: Full Registration is for breeding purposes and Limited Registration is for pets.

Full Registration is typically a lot more expensive than Limited Registration. Depending on characteristics of the puppy, family pedigree and family health; the cost to purchase full registration can be from several hundred to several thousand dollars to move from limited to full registration. The majority of breeders do not offer full registration as an option.
